Giclée, (pronounced gee-clay)
is a state of the art method for creating reproductions of fine
art paintings and drawings, using pure digital technology to
achieve previously unheard of fidelity to the original image.
The reproduction is made with archival inks on the same canvas
used for fine oil and acrylic paintings, producing a durable,
permanent, brilliant image that should last a lifetime.
Remarked
Giclées are reproductions that are enhanced by the artist.
Rod "Remarks" many of his giclées on canvas
using acrylic paint and varnish to add a final artistic flourish
to the image as well as durability and longevity. Giclée
reproductions can be framed like any oil or acrylic painting
without glass.
